INFO
We will only have 10 couples...This means that it is possible everyone will
not be able to join so make sure to bring your A-GAME to the
1st practice/try-outs on September 11th.

**We have changed the format because Art In Motion's goals are to help
individuals get better as dancers and to promote dance in Louisville and the
surrounding areas. We feel that we can better achieve this by being
somewhat selective for our team.

FORMAT

-This is an 8 week class
-Each individual will learn an original Art In Motion choreography
during these weeks.
-You will also have access to the choreography via internet as we
post it online.

personal flavor

COST:
$100 paid upfront for the 8 weeks of classes.

**The classes are 1.5 hours long, which means you are paying $8.33/hour
**Cost of costume plus ticket for the Showcase will be an additional $50 approximately

Frequently Asked Questions
1. Do I need a partner?

This is the biggest myth when it comes to dance. Few people comes to dance classes with partners because you are constantly rotating partners the entire time. However, If you wish to stay with a specific partner in our classes, we allow that.

2.What should you wear?

People wear anything and everything to dance classes such as jeans, sweatpants, shorts...whatever you feel comfortable with.

3. What type of shoes do I need?

Basically anything will do other than shoes made for athletics. You DO NOT want a shoe that has a lot of grip on it because that will cause you to stick to the floor and is bad for the joints and its harder to move.
